To Whom it May Concern,
Please find attached a copy of my resume for your consideration.
Having worked within the software industry for twenty years, I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for the role.
In my present role as Principle Lustre Networking Engineer, I provide leadership and expertise to users of the Open Source, High Performance Computing File System, Lustre. Lustre is widely used in the HPC community. I’ve spearheaded important features in the LNet space, including Multi-Rail, GPU Direct Storage and others. I’ve worked along side NASA Ames; National Labs such as ORNL, LLNL, SNL; universities such as Stanford University, Harvard, Brigham Young University, Simon Fraser University (SFU), as well as many other public and private entities to gather Luster Networking Requirements, make recommendations and resolve issues they run into with their Super Computing Clusters.
I would appreciate an opportunity to talk with you regarding my experiences and how I can contribute to the success of your company. If you would like to get in touch to discuss my application and to arrange an interview, you can contact me via phone (604) 700-4874 or email: amir.shehata@gmail.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Amir Shehata

Lustre Distributed Test Infrastructure
Developed a Python Infrastructure to test Lustre and Lustre Networking components. The infrastructure is designed to allow distributed testing over multiple compute nodes. The infrastructure is flexible to allow any sort of distributed work flow, not testing only.
